Victoria Beckham takes feud to next level: ‘This ends now’
After Brooklyn Beckham reaches out on sister Harper’s birthday, their mum sees hope for a fresh chance at a family reunion

The months-long Beckham family feud reached breaking point this month when brothers Romeo and Cruz reportedly blocked eldest sibling Brooklyn on social media.
But now, Closer can exclusively reveal that Victoria Beckham is making a bold move to bring all her boys back together – with a no-expense-spared birthday bash for middle son Romeo at their Cotswolds home in Septembe
In a dramatic twist, she’s extended an olive branch to estranged son Brooklyn and his wife of three years, Nicola Peltz, to join the party.
‘Victoria’s still heartbroken,’ says a source close to the family. ‘She just wants her boys back together. They were always so close and she’s beside herself with worry over the way things have turned out.

‘Romeo turns 23 in September, so she’s trying to bring everyone together in the Cotswolds around that time to celebrate. Although it’s obviously important for the family to mark Romeo’s birthday, the main reason behind the get-together is to bring the family under one roof for some serious talks and healing. She’s insistent that this is a chance to finally end this now.’
The party is an attempt to thaw tension between Brooklyn, 26, and Romeo, 22 – as well as between Nicola, 30, and the rest of the famous family – who’ve barely been seen together since the Peltz-Beckham’s £3million wedding back in 2022.
Trouble reportedly began during the lavish event, when Nicola opted to wear Valentino instead of a gown from Victoria’s label, sparking gossip about a supposed fashion snub. Things spiralled from there, with insiders at the time claiming Nicola ‘iced out’ Romeo’s then-girlfriend Mia Regan during the wedding, despite Romeo being best man.
Tension over Romeo’s next girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, followed, with sources claiming Brooklyn and Nicola didn’t approve of her, and even blamed her for the wider Beckham family rift a claim fiercely denied by friends of the model who branded her a ‘scapegoat’.

Closer’s insider now adds, ‘The Beckham family are actually quite loyal and down-to-earth. Some feel that Nicola can be the complete opposite of that, so it can sometimes be difficult to navigate a personality like that. Other factors like Kim [Turnbull] can be thrown into the mix as a cause of a disagreement, but everyone knows where the real problem lies.’
Behind the scenes, David, 50, and Victoria, 51, have remained united, but are becoming increasingly distressed over the breakdown of the relationship with their eldest son, especially after Brooklyn and Nicola skipped David’s milestone 50th birthday celebrations earlier this year, despite flying into London for work commitments just days later. They also missed a family getaway to France, and a boys’ trip to Scotland – two events that might have mended bridges.
Tensions are now sky-high after Brooklyn and Nicola seemingly unfollowed Romeo and Cruz on Instagram. The Beckhams were said to be stunned by the move, but Brooklyn’s camp hit back insisting Romeo and Cruz had blocked him first.
The source reveals, ‘There’s been no response to some of the messages that have been sent. Some go completely ignored, while others will get a reply weeks later.

‘Brooklyn has become a different person since he met Nicola. Draw your own conclusions from that, but it’s clear to see that it’s affected the entire family a great deal.’
Despite everything, however, signs of a potential reunion were hinted at earlier this month when Brooklyn reached out on Harper’s 14th birthday, posting a sweet throwback of himself, Nicola – who once called the teen the ‘perfect dream little sister’ and Harper with the caption ‘Happy Birthday Harper, we love u x’.
But for the Beckhams, Closer’s insider suggests that it may have done more harm than good, admitting, ‘The feeling from some was that the social media message was more about appearances, but it’s true that Brooklyn adores Harper. He wasn’t just wishing her a happy birthday to save face.
‘And Harper adored both Nicola and Brooklyn. There’s been some distance there recently, but they’re family and will always remain close. There’s a desire that it can all be worked out.’

Hoping that the birthday post was well-intentioned, Victoria is going full steam ahead with her plans to reunite her brood by pulling out all the stops for Romeo’s big day at their £12million farmhouse in Chipping Norton, which they purchased in 2016.
The insider concludes, ‘Victoria is busy planning something. It will be a boho-chic style affair with barbecues by the lake – a rather relaxed family-type event. She’s hoping that by getting everyone under one roof, they might just be able to talk things through. She knows it’s a long shot, but she’s not ready to give up on her family.
‘Victoria is desperate to make it a success. It’s not just a birthday party – it’s her chance to bring the family back together.’
