Good Morning Britain viewers were left in disbelief this morning after a cheeky on-air moment between Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway turned unexpectedly revealing.
During a live segment featuring the show’s new Tough Mums obstacle course, Ben, 41, gave the 48-year-old presenter — and the nation — quite the shock when he jokingly scooped Kate up in his arms and pretended to dunk her into a pool of icy, muddy water.
Dressed in a short lilac lace dress paired with a bright pink coat, Kate screamed in shock as Ben playfully dangled her over the pool, inadvertently revealing more than intended to millions of viewers.
“It was live TV chaos,” one studio insider said. “Everyone was laughing, but you could see Kate didn’t expect that moment to happen at all.”
Co-stars Susanna Reid, Laura Tobin, and Richard Arnold watched the drama unfold, visibly concerned as Kate tried to regain her composure.
