Rylan Clark has confirmed his new romance, going Instagram official with his boyfriend Kennedy as the pair enjoyed a dreamy trip to Florence, Italy.
The This Morning presenter, 36, shared a series of intimate snaps from their getaway, including one where they posed through a traditional wine window, known as a buchette del vino, while raising glasses of red. Another black-and-white shot showed the couple holding hands, with more images capturing their sightseeing tour around the historic city.
In the caption, Rylan wrote: “A few days in Florence with you. Popped into see Elizabeth and thank her for being part of our grand tour and had to see the Artemisia Gentileschi and thank her for being part of the Bafta. A beautiful few days x.”
The pictures mark a significant step for Rylan, who split from ex-husband Dan Neal in 2021 after admitting to infidelity early in their marriage. Last month, Rylan revealed on Louis Theroux’s podcast How To Be In Love that Kennedy is the first man he has introduced to his family since his painful divorce. “At this time, I’m very happy,” Rylan explained. “It feels very different to anything I’ve had before, which is a good sign to me. I’m loving what I’ve got at the minute and I want to keep it that way.”
Fans flooded the comments with joy, one writing: “I’m so genuinely happy for you and Kennedy. You both deserve every bit of happiness together.” Another added: “Yay! You made it to new chapters, darling.”
For years, viewers had speculated about sparks between Rylan and his close friend Rob Rinder after their hit travel shows Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour and Passage to India. But Rylan put the rumours to rest, laughing: “Much as I love him, Rob isn’t my boyfriend. I love him too much to marry him.”
Four years on from heartbreak, Rylan is finally embracing love again — and doing so in the most open way possible.
