Britain’s Got Talent winner Sydnie Christmas has added another shining milestone to her incredible journey, winning the Variety Club Silver Heart Award 2025 for Outstanding New ITV Talent.
The glamorous ceremony took place on October 19, 2025, at The Londoner Hotel in Leicester Square, bringing together the biggest stars in entertainment, including Sir Stephen Fry, Ant and Dec, and Vanessa Williams, to celebrate this year’s outstanding contributions to British showbusiness and charity.

Sydnie, who won the nation’s hearts with her unforgettable performance of “Tomorrow” on Britain’s Got Talent 2024, stunned guests as she took the stage in a Nicol Sposa gown to perform “My Way” — the same song that earned her standing ovations on BGT. Her powerful voice filled the room, earning thunderous applause and emotional smiles from the audience.

After receiving her award, Sydnie took to Instagram to express her heartfelt gratitude:
“Thank you so much @varietygb for having me — and most importantly, for having me perform for you all. What an honour.
To be in a room so inspiring, standing amongst the greatest talents our country has seen… I felt unworthy but incredibly grateful.
I’m most honoured to have been awarded the ITV New Talent Award. I dedicate this award to all the dreamers.”
Fans flooded her post with love and congratulations, calling her win “so well-deserved” and “a moment of pure magic.”
But Sydnie’s celebration didn’t end there — she’s now officially heading back into the studio to record her first-ever album of original songs.

After releasing her debut covers album “My Way” last year, Sydnie revealed she’s been working on brand-new material that tells her personal story. Speaking with The Sun’s Bizarre columnist Jack Hardwick, she shared:
“It’s so exciting. I never thought I’d have an album of original songs.
I’ve been writing since I was young, and I never thought those songs would ever see the light of day.
Now, as an adult, I finally get the chance to write and work out my style. People have seen me and think, ‘She’s musical theatre,’ but that’s not all I sing — and it’s not all I’ve ever been.”

Sydnie explained that her new music dives deep into her life, adventures, and experiences, giving fans a closer look at who she really is beyond the stage. The first person she plans to share her new music with? None other than Amanda Holden, who’s become a close mentor since BGT.
“All it takes is for me to message her and she replies. I’ve got a demo I need to send her,” Sydnie laughed. “I’d never ask her to plug it — I just really want her opinion.”
Despite her busy schedule, Sydnie recently wrapped up her role as Cruella de Vil in 101 Dalmatians at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, and she’s already gearing up for her own headlining show, “One Night Only,” set to take place on September 9 at the Adelphi Theatre in the West End.
“I’m so excited,” she said. “We’re filming the show for PBS in America, which is amazing. I’ll be introducing new songs that no one’s heard before. I like to be clever when choosing what to sing — sometimes I’ll pick songs from shows I’d love to be in, hoping casting directors in the audience might see me in those roles.”
Known for her sparkling stage presence, Sydnie laughed about her off-stage life:
“It’s funny because I’m such a tomboy — always in jeans and trainers. But on stage, I love transforming into this glamorous version of myself. I love the glitter and the energy that comes with it.”
Amid her growing fame, Sydnie remains grounded thanks to her close-knit family, who have been her biggest supporters since day one. Her parents and siblings have cheered her through every performance, often seen wiping away tears of pride as she sings. Sydnie has spoken often about how her family kept her motivated through years of rejection and uncertainty, reminding her that no dream is ever too far if you keep believing.
With her Variety Club award, new original album in the works, and a West End headline show on the horizon, Sydnie Christmas is proving she’s not just a reality TV sensation — she’s a true star in the making.
