šŸ”„Jason Kelce Opens Up on Life After Football, Beard Care — and Why ā€˜Dry January’ Isn’t Happening šŸ§”šŸ¹

Jason Kelce may be retired from the NFL, but slowing down? That’s not on his to-do list.

The formerĀ Philadelphia EaglesĀ center, who officially stepped away from football in 2024, is entering 2026 with a fresh mindset — one built on balance, family, and enjoying life beyond the yellow goalposts.

ā€œFootball was my life for 13 years,ā€ Kelce tellsĀ Page Six Style. ā€œIt still is in many ways. But now, the possibilities for what comes next feel endless.ā€

These days, Kelce is learning how to redirect his competitive edge — swapping Sunday battles forĀ golf swings, cooking experiments, and family adventures. Improving his game on the course is high on his list, along with sharpening his skills in the kitchen and cutting back on processed foods.

That said, one resolution is absolutelyĀ notĀ happening.

ā€œDry January is out of the question,ā€ Kelce admits with a grin.

Instead, he’s opting for moderation — lightening things up withĀ Ole Smoky Blackberry Moonshine and club soda, as part of his partnership with the Tennessee-based distillery.

If there’s one thing Kelce still treats like game prep, it’s his iconic beard.

ā€œA great beard doesn’t just happen,ā€ he says. ā€œIt takes upkeep — and the right tools.ā€

From trimming to grooming, Kelce has embraced self-care in full dad-legend mode, alongside another surprising goal: finally keeping the house tidy.

ā€œI’m more of a ā€˜push the dirt under the rug’ guy,ā€ he jokes. ā€œBut that’s changing.ā€

Above everything else, Kelce says his biggest priority in this new chapter isĀ family. With football no longer dictating his schedule, he’s determined to be present for every possible moment with wifeĀ Kylie KelceĀ and their four daughters.

ā€œBedtime stories, tea parties, date nights, dad jokes — all of it,ā€ he says.
ā€œNow that I’m retired, I want to be there for as many special moments as I can.ā€

No pads. No pressure. Just purpose.

And maybe a well-groomed beard to go with it.
