Activist Tommy Robinson delivered a massive address to crowds gathered in London for the âUnite the Kingdomâ rally today. In a speech focused heavily on political strategy over street-level confrontation, Robinson framed the 2029 general election as the âBattle of Britainâ and urged his followers to move away from political apathy by joining local parties and becoming active voters. He also dismissed recent condemnations from Prime Minister Keir Starmer, claiming traditional political labels like âfar-rightâ have lost their power.

A SHIFT FROM PROTEST TO POLITICS Addressing a sprawling crowd filled with Union flags, Tommy Robinson began his speech by directly taunting the Prime Minister. âAre you watching, Keir Starmer? This crowd⊠goes from here for miles,â he declared, before shifting his focus to the future .
Robinsonâs core message centered on long-term political engagement. He warned his supporters that street protests alone are insufficient and that true change must occur at the ballot box. âIf we donât send a message in our next election, if you donât register to vote, if you donât get involved⊠we are going to lose our country forever,â he warned .
He blamed current political realities on the apathy of the British public, noting that Prime Minister Starmer was elected with only 9 million votes while 20 million citizens abstained. âIf we stood up and said how we thought at the ballot box, we wouldnât have had open borders. We wouldnât have been betrayed,â Robinson asserted .
CALL TO ACTION: JOIN A POLITICAL PARTYÂ In a strategic pivot for the movement, Robinson explicitly instructed his followers to integrate into the established political system. While he identified âUnite the Kingdomâ as a cultural movement, he demanded that attendees leave the rally and join a local political party.
âI donât care if itâs Reform, if itâs Advance, or itâs Restore, or itâs the Conservative party. We have to locally get involved in politics,â he urged . He praised the recent success of Reform UK activists in local elections and stressed that without organized political action, âviolence is coming to usâ due to the importation of âhostile communitiesâ that he claims refuse to integrate .
REJECTING STARMERâS LABELSÂ Robinson also took the opportunity to address Prime Minister Keir Starmerâs recent video, in which Starmer condemned the rallyâs organizers as racists and thugs. Robinson confidently dismissed these accusations, arguing that the political establishmentâs tactics are outdated.
âKeir Starmerâs video yesterday⊠he still fits with 5 years ago, because that worked 5 years ago. Keir, the scaremongering, the racist label, the fearmongering, the far-rightâit doesnât work anymore, does it people?â Robinson asked the cheering crowd .
INTRODUCING ANDREW BRIDGEN Robinson concluded his address by condemning the occupants of the nearby Houses of Parliament, describing the majority of the 650 MPs as âtraitors to this countryâ . He then introduced former Conservative MP Andrew Bridgen to the stage, praising Bridgen as the lone politician who âdidnât remain silentâ during the COVID-19 pandemic and who subsequently faced the âfull state and weight of the British establishmentâ .
The speech marks a clear attempt by Robinson to channel the raw anger of the âUnite the Kingdomâ protests into a structured, electoral force aimed squarely at the 2029 general election.
