SHANIA Twain caused a commotion after her latest red carpet appearance, with fans branding her as totally ‘unrecognisable’.
The country superstar, 60, strutted her stuff at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday.
Shania stunned in a sparkling silver and black dress completely covered in sequins.

She paired the gown with long leather gloves with silver eyelet details and left her auburn hair flowing down her shoulders.
Shania finished the look off with glam makeup including bold blush and a pair of statement earrings.
However, fans seeing Shania from home were shocked that she looked so different than years prior.
Taking to X to discuss it, one user said: “She looks like a different person and not in a good way. She was a naturally beautiful woman. This doesn’t look like her at all!”

A second shared: “Christ it doesn’t even look like the same person!”
Meanwhile a third and fourth added: “Who is that?” and “Doesn’t look anything like her.”
Shania, who hosted the event, has maintained that she has never had any plastic surgery done despite fans speculating how she’s managed to keep such a youthful glow.

On the Making Space with Hoda Kobt podcast in 2023, the singer said that she had reached a point in her life where she decided not to undergo any cosmetic procedures.
She said: “Maybe that was probably part of what pushed me to go, “OK, it’s time to start loving yourself in your own skin.
“And then I think, “Well what if I’m one of those that doesn’t heal very well?”

“Then I’m gonna hate that about myself. Then I’m gonna regret doing it.”
Shania rose to fame in the mid 1990s following the success of her album, The Woman in Me.
It sold over 20 million copies worldwide and featured her first major hit Any Man of Mine.
Her subsequent album, Come on Over, further cemented her stardom and became the best-selling studio album by a female artist of any genre at the time.
