Pete Wicks has lifted the lid on just how chaotic his trips with Olivia Attwood can get, after their recent Ibiza getaway sparked speculation about her marriage.
The TV personalities and radio co-hosts were spotted getting cosy during a five-day party break on the island, with Pete pictured slipping an arm around Olivia’s waist. The snaps are said to have left Olivia’s footballer husband Bradley Dack unimpressed.
On the latest episode of his Staying Relevant podcast, Pete confessed to Sam Thompson that the trip was never going to be a quiet one. “I am going to get off my t*ts,” he laughed, before revealing that he and Olivia have a long-standing tradition of drinking before they even board the plane. “Liv and I on work trips usually get to the airport, it’s an early flight, and by the time we step onto the flight we’re already drunk,” he explained.
Pete described his role as “airport dad,” making sure everything runs smoothly while Olivia takes charge of the itinerary. He also praised her as “one of the most independent people I know,” though he admitted she often relies on him for practical details when they travel.
Insiders insist there’s no romance between the pair, despite the pictures. One friend said: “Nothing is going on between Liv and Pete, they’re friends. It’s completely ridiculous to say otherwise. Olivia and Bradley are happily married.”
However, Bradley was reportedly angered when intimate snaps of Olivia and Pete were circulated among his Gillingham teammates. A source added: “She’s a party girl at heart and needed to let off steam, but her wild partying in Ibiza did irritate and anger Bradley.”
Olivia herself has laughed off the criticism. Posting her Ibiza photos to Instagram, she wrote: “Off the rails.” When a fan expressed concern for her marriage, she snapped back: “Don’t be. Worry about yours.”
While Bradley was later seen wearing his gold wedding band, Olivia was pictured without hers as she left the KISS FM studios. Sources explained she often removes her rings and had them cleaned that day.
Reflecting on her marriage, Olivia admitted: “For ages I had the crown in our relationship, carrying us on my back. Now I’m filming seven days a week and I’m moody. I come in, I’m evil. And I’m still going to Ibiza to a rave and wear a bikini.”
Pete, meanwhile, called Olivia secretly “one of the kindest and most intelligent people” he knows, though he joked she’s “also a bit of a pr*ck.” Olivia returned the compliment, saying Pete is “very loyal. If he’s in your corner, you know he’ll be there for you.”
