Alesha Dixon found comfort in her dear mate and fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden as they jetted off for a sunshine getaway during the singer’s difficult divorce proceedings.
It emerged last year that the 46 year old was facing her second marriage breakdown following the end of her relationship with dancer Azuka Ononye.
However, telly favourite Amanda, 54, showed what true friendship looks like by whisking her BGT co-star away for a much-needed break on a gorgeous Greek island.
The former Wild at Heart star took to social media on Saturday to share glimpses of their fabulous time together.
The talent show panellists have been soaking up the rays in Corfu, where Amanda is thought to have linked up with interior design programme partner Alan Carr for another series of their popular makeover show, Amanda and Alan’s Greek Job, reports the Mirror.
Images and a short video revealed Amanda and Alesha living their best lives during a speedboat adventure across the crystal-clear waters.
Additional pictures captured the duo looking absolutely stunning in eye-catching swimwear.
Captioning the posts, Amanda penned: “Loved having this one @aleshaofficial and her beautiful family with me and the girls for a few days of sunshine in #Corfu.”
The sentiment was clearly reciprocated, with Alesha responding with a sweet note saying: “Love you” accompanied by a heart emoji. Alesha is reported to have parted ways with her husband last year.
The Mis-teeq sensation found love with backing dancer Azuka, 44, following their initial encounter in 2006, and they enjoyed a passionate romance together.
The pair welcomed two daughters during their relationship: Azura, 11, and Anaya, who celebrates her sixth birthday this month.
However, reports surfaced in November last year that Alesha and Azuka had ended their relationship after nearly two decades together.
This represents the conclusion of a second marriage for Alesha, who was previously wed to So Solid Crew member MC Harvey.
The Scandalous performer and the They Don’t Know artist, whose real name is Michael Harvey Jr, 46, tied the knot in 2005 – but separated the following year.
In April this year it was reported Alesha and Azuka made a final attempt to rescue their marriage.
A source told the Sun at the time: “They went through a really rocky patch and decided to call it a day. It had been difficult for a long time, and Alesha just couldn’t see a way forward. AZ even moved out to a hotel for a while, despite the fact that they were co-parenting.
“But there is still a huge amount of feeling between them. They’ve been together for 12 years and have two beautiful children. So they have decided to give it one last try.
“They both desperately want to be a family again and are going to do all it takes to make it work. But Alesha’s friends aren’t convinced it will last. Ultimately, none of their problems have been fixed, so it’s going to be tough.”
Alesha had previously opened up about her romance with Azuka during a television chat show appearance, revealing: “I was kind of playing hard to get for about a year,” the star confessed.
“And then I had the foot operation and I couldn’t walk and he was literally sleeping on the floor looking after me every day. I was just looking at him thinking, ‘That is for better or for worse isn’t it.’ I looked a state, he was sleeping on the floor because I was on the couch, I couldn’t even get up the stairs. If he can carry me to the toilet then he’s a keeper.”
The star later touchingly revealed she hadn’t envisioned herself becoming a mother until she encountered her husband. During an appearance on Giovanna Fletcher’s podcast, she explained: “He was the first person that I’d met, that I knew that we could have children together because of our values, our morals, our thinking aligned..
“The thought of having children with someone who could do something toxic or show them something toxic that I saw as a child frightened me more than anything in the world.”
