The 49-year-old TV star — loved for her warmth and humour on ITV’s This Morning and The Great British Bake Off — has opened up about the darker side of her transformation, revealing the constant pressure she’s faced over claims she used weight-loss jabs.Người phụ nữ trang điểm, mặc áo khoác denim, áo phông trắng và váy kẻ sọc.

Speaking to the Daily Mail at the Women of the Year Awards, Alison admitted that every time she speaks publicly, she’s hit with the same question:

“It worries me that the jab keeps getting brought up. Every single time I have a conversation in public, that’s the question thrown at me.”

When asked directly if she’d ever used injections to lose weight, Alison firmly replied:

“Absolutely not. I’m not a follower — I do what’s right for me.”

But the presenter didn’t stop there. In a moment that has since gone viral, she addressed her critics head-on — her voice trembling as she asked the question that silenced the room:

💔 “Would you rather I die from being obese?”

The powerful remark has sparked an outpouring of emotion online, with fans praising her honesty and bravery. Many say Alison’s words shed light on the cruelty of body shaming and the unrealistic expectations faced by those trying to get healthy.

One fan commented:
💬 “That question broke me. People forget that behind the smiles is someone just trying to live.”

Another added:
💬 “She’s lost 13.5 stone and still gets criticised — it’s disgusting. Let her be happy!”

Alison revealed that she achieved her transformation through moderation, exercise, and self-discipline — not restrictive diets. “I don’t deny myself anything,” she explained. “I just try to live healthily and drink lots of water.”Alison Hammond cùng Mikey Phillips và người thứ ba, trước chỗ ngồi của sân vận động.

The This Morning star, who once weighed around 30 stone, now stands proud at 16½ stone, crediting her personal trainer and daily walks for helping her maintain balance.

Despite the scrutiny, Alison says she’s not ashamed to talk about the reality of weight loss — whether natural or assisted:

“Maybe next year I might use the jab. What does it matter how people lose weight? As long as they’re living.”

Her words have struck a chord with fans who say her journey is about much more than numbers — it’s about survival, confidence, and self-love.
