Prince Andrew relinquished his Royal titles a month after a tense encounter with Prince William, in what was their last public appearance together.
The prince, previously known as the Duke of York, stepped down on Friday under pressure from King Charles and William amid further scandal surrounding Jeffrey Epstein.
One of his last public appearances was at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral, where he caused a stir among the public when he arrived at Westminster Abbey with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.
Following the service, Andrew, 65, who has been embroiled in scandal, seemed to be snubbed by William, who he attempted to engage in conversation, reportedly leaving the future king “furious”.
At the time, we consulted renowned lip reader Jeremy Freeman to analyse the widely shared footage on social media to determine exactly what was said.

Andrew, seen laughing and smiling while other senior royals appeared more sombre, tried to converse with William several times. At one point, he broke into a smile, but his nephew refused to respond.
The expert revealed that Andrew said to William: “… we had a lovely time in those days, didn’t we… I remember those days.”
Royal author Andrew Lownie then told the Mirror that William was “furious” after being caught off guard during the service. He stated: “He has been at pains to distance himself from his uncle and not be photographed with him.
“He believes his father has not dealt with him with sufficient firmness and that Andrew – and Sarah Ferguson – have done much to undermine the good work of other members of the Royal Family.”
Andrew, who also announced he would relinquish the Order of the Garter title, was accused by Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most prominent victims, of sexual abuse. He has consistently denied these allegations.

Following his title revocation last night, he stated: “In discussion with the King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family.
“I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.
“With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.”
